Who can play
You must be 13 or older. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password private. One account per person.
Fair play
No cheating, exploiting bugs, using bots or automation, selling or sharing accounts, or attacking the servers. Report bugs to us instead of abusing them. We may remove ill-gotten items and suspend accounts.
Behaviour
No hate, harassment, threats, sexual content, spam, scams or impersonation in names or chat. Names and chat are filtered and may be reviewed. You can block and report other players from their profile. We may mute, rename, suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.
Virtual items and purchases
- Gems, shards, cosmetics and everything else in the game are virtual items with no cash value. You get a license to use them while the game runs; you do not own them.
- Cosmetics change how you look. They never change your stats or your chances in the game.
- Crates and seasonal draws give random cosmetics. The chance of each rarity, and the guaranteed epic-or-better every 30th opening of the same crate, are shown in the store before you buy.
- Purchases are made by card on the website and the Windows app, or through Google Play in the Android app. Refunds follow our Refund Policy (Google Play purchases follow Google Play's rules). Gems you spend are not refundable.
Discord bot
The Idle Odyssey Discord bot works with the game account you link to it from the game's Settings (Connections). It can show your hero, bag, quests and market, send you notifications, and for Premium players manage tasks. Everything it does follows these terms and the game's own rules; it gives no advantage in fights or drops. Using Discord also means following Discord's Terms of Service. You can unlink at any time in Settings or with the bot's unlink command. We may unlink or block the bot for an account that abuses it.
The game can change
This is a game that keeps being built. We may change, rebalance, reset or shut down parts of it. We will try to warn you first for anything that matters, and we will not reset paid cosmetics without compensation.
Our liability
The game is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses from downtime, bugs or lost progress.
Ending
You can stop playing any time and ask us to delete your account. We can end accounts that break these terms.
